The Quality of Our Experienced Strata Management Team

Strata Associates has a very stable, experienced management team. The company employs a larger than typical number of licensed strata and community managers. Generally our trainee strata and community managers progress from support role duties to the management of a small portfolio of properties, moving "through the ranks" and learning "at the coal face" as they progress.

Small Management Teams

Each strata and community manager reports to a team leader who also manages a portfolio of properties and is responsible for the day to day supervision of one or two managers. Each team leader in turn reports to a Director of the Company. Each team is supported by a Team Coordinator. This structure ensures that your enquiries are dealt with on a timely basis and quality control is genuinely achieved.

Small Number of Properties per Manager

Strata Associates participates in an industry benchmarking survey each year. The results of this survey clearly demonstrate that each strata and community manager employed by Strata Associates manages fewer properties than is typically the case. This lower than typical ratio of properties per manager enables our team to best service your needs and ensures you are not just a number on their portfolio list.

Support Service Departments

Our strata and community managers are supported by a number of specialist departments in areas such as Finance and Accounting, Education and Technical Compliance, Insurance, Risk Management and Records Management. The strata manager and community manager is therefore able to focus on communication with the Executive Committee and acting on their instructions.

Structured On-going Staff Training & Development

Strata Associates employs a full time education and training manager who is both a qualified teacher and strata and community manager. Of the 40 + staff employed by the company more than 20 are required to maintain a certificate or license to practice as a strata and community manager or exercise aspects of our delegated responsibilities.

The company is truly committed to the on-going training and development of its staff and demonstrates this by holding regular in-house training sessions, an annual off-site educational conference and attendaning and participating in industry association seminars.
